Photography exhibit: Framing the Transition

Simultaneously with the Dutch cinema release of Burma Storybook, we exhibited our photography project Framing The Transition in De Balie in Amsterdam.

This is the result of a six-months project in Myanmar, in which we first taught a workshop in documentary essay photography together with photographer Dana Lixenberg and producer Constant van Panhuys, and then coached the twelve participating Burmese photographers ‘on the job’ as they were shooting their photo series.
